Well, so much for Jake's season. His team lost both games and are done for the year. Jake did at least get two hits today and made a couple of nice plays at first base.
The Tigers, however, did win today, which puts them back at .500 for the season. Verlander looked excellent! Hopefully the rest of the season after the All-Star break will be a much-needed improvement over the first half.

Hey, at least Jake was in the play-offs, sorry to hear they lost. I agree about the Tigers. If we can get some more pitching from the other guys like Verlander has been pitching lately maybe they can make a second half run.
