My Illinois Trip

I had a wonderful time the weekend of Cheryl's baby shower. It was such a great opportunity to visit with so many people I hadn't seen in a long time. Thank you Nancy and Ray for your hospitality! Also, it worked out perfect that Katie moved into her apartment that weekend. I loved being able to see her new place (thank you Cheryl and Larry!) and all of us having a "Fun-Filled Afternoon"!

Red Wings

How 'bout those Red Wings! What a great Stanley Cup Playoffs & the Cup is back in it's rightful home. It was fun seeing all the celebrations, on the ice, in the locker room and the parade yesterday w/ a million people there. After the Pistons let us down, the Wings came through & what a great team w/ Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Lidstrom, Osgood, Holmstrom, Franzen, etc. Evidently, they put a small dent in the Cup at Cheli's Chili Bar last night but I'm sure it's been through worse. The only downer is now all we have to cheer for is our Tigers who unless they turn it around quickly, are going nowhere. Anyway, thank you Red Wings for a great season!!!
