Holidays

I don't have many pictures of Christmas, but I do have some photos to share of some of our annual traditions. Here we are baking and decorating sugar cookies (in the spirit of the holidays, we decorate them all including the deformed ones such as one-legged deer or a snowman with a tumor...I should've taken some photos of those ones).

My family also hosts an annual Christmas party. As you can see, we recruited a young but no less rocking band for the party.

The holidays have been fun and relaxing. My siblings and I have created a new band for Rock Band 2 called The Pixiefaced Warbears (our emblem is a koala bear). We are taking America and Europe by storm. Other than that, not too much to report.

My writing group has created a small press/publishing company called Moxie Paper Press, and we had our first event called Monster Holiday, which consisted of the five of us reading an excerpt from our short stories with live music in the background and two bands also played. It was a really fun time, and we sold all of our handmade books that we made for the event (only 40, but still). So that was exciting and fun. Here's a photo of the books.

Happy New Year everyone!

Looks like fun! So, similar to Jack White w/ The White Stripes & Raconteurs, you can float back & forth btwn your two bands. Yes, would have liked to see a deformed cookie or two. The "young rockers" were cute.
